by San Kamsath Samuel, Staff of COSI, Cambodia.
I am 40 years old and married with three children. I have been working as a general worker in COSI since 2002. I am thankful for the blessings that God has given me.
During one of the COSI morning staff devotions, I shared about my problem as I was feeling lost and found it hard to trust God. I shared that I did not have enough income to send my daughter to university. Although I had prayed and asked God to help me, I felt God was not answering my prayer. However, after I shared my problem, a sister-in-Christ mentioned that someone would be able to help me.
I could not believe it. It was as if God was allowing this sister’s thoughts and words to help me. Amazingly, my friend came to my mind and I made connection with my friend. My friend was that ‘someone’ who could help me! It did not cross my mind; I never thought about it in the first place. I then realised that it was God who has spoken to us and He has answered my prayers.
I thank God that my friend was able to find a sponsor for my daughter to enter university eventually. I am also thankful that I am able to continue to work at COSI.
