The Lord has provided numerus opportunities for MMS to reach out to the nations in our region. We focused on the twin strategy of church planting and community development.
In recent months, we have been working together with the National Leaders of Thailand to support the building of 2 churches. It was for the purpose that the leaders and members could meet regularly for worship, discipleship, and outreach. While we worked on the projects, we are constantly engaged in intercession. After all, we echo the words of the Psalmist that “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.” (Psalm 127:1, ESV)
With that in mind, we mobilised our intercessors to seek our Almighty God, our Jehovah Jireh to provide the resources to build these two churches. On the eve of the Fund Raising Banquet, we had received about 60% of the targeted amount. We praise God that the people of God participated actively in the event, and by the afternoon of the following day, the total sum raised was more than 100% of that which we had hoped to raise! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
Please continue to pray for the Task Force that will oversee the 2 building projects. Glory to His Holy Name! Amen!
